Fiber optic acoustic sensors
Microphone
The microphone designed by Phonoptics is an acoustic sensor adaptable to the most hostile environments in different versions :
-
Standard (metal)
-
Plastic (suitable for EMI/RFI, IRM environments)
-
High temperatures (Kovar metal or ceramic, up to 350°C)
Phonoptics has overcome the limits of microphones by using a unique optical fiber. So, the Phonoptics microphone combines small sensor size and high sensitivity while being resistant to the outdoor environment. Due to the technology developed, we can adapt the shape of the sensor to obtain previously unexpected features.
This sensor must be used with its conditioner.
